I want to thank lesbians everywhere, of all time, for their ability to create even under the harshest of conditions. Without the lesbians of our past, the lesbians of today would not exist in the same capacity. I want to thank the entirety of the LGBTQIA+ community for their continued efforts to enact change and their fight for love. I want to thank my dear readers for their curiosity and passion to learn more about our history. I want to thank Dr. Davis-Perry for her influence on my learning and introduction to the literature of these centuries and Professor Laski for overseeing the creation of this website. I want to thank all the scholars who have dedicated even a fraction of their career to the pursuit of queer studies. Lastly, I want to thank Gabbi and MJ for being my continued inspiration to uncover a small, but significant piece of history about lesbian poetry.
